Playboy Mansion rehab

Andrew Bynum is rehabbing his knee. The Lakers know they are a better team with Bynum in the lineup. Bynum gives them a strong presence in the middle. By the looks of this picture it looks like Bynum's knee is getting healthy. Now, some people are making a big deal about Bynum, 21, partying at the Playboy Mansion while his team is on the road. My comeback to that is, you are all just jealous because you weren't invited. Who in their right mind turns down an invite to the Mansion? I, sure as hell would not. As long as Bynum is showing up to his rehab and training meetings with no problem, it doesn't concern me what he does on his spare time. I'm still picking the Lakers to win the NBA Championship...

Bonus Coverage:

UCONN vs. Michigan State: I'm taking Michigan State in this game. You all are wondering why, but it's simple for me. This game is in Michigan. This is basically a home game and Tom Izzo does a great job in the big games. Everyone questioned me when I took Michigan State over the Cardinals this weekend, looks like I was right.

UNC vs. Villanova: This damm Villanova team is scrappy and doesn't quit. But, scrappy and not quitting just doesn't match up with Psycho T and company. Lawson is too much for 'Nova to handle. Everyone get to Costco and purchase the alcohol, tri-tips, etc because it's Final Four time!!

Softball Guy

I play a lot of softball. I play so much softball that someone, has called me softball guy before. However, I am not Jim Rome's version of softball guy. Although I know a few "softball guys," just take the 8 minutes and watch this video you won't regret it. It's hilarous!!

Yes!! Hockey News

I realize no one cares about hockey. Personally, if hockey disappeared I probably wouldn't even realize it was gone. But, you have to check out this video. There's no arguing the intensity of this minor league hockey goalie for the Providence Bruins. I think he has anger issues. Leave your thoughts on the video and cheers eh!!

Girls, sports and blogs??

I'm a fan of sports. I'm a fan of girls. I'm a fan of girls that like sports. But what happens when a girl gets a blog to discuss sports and sex? Well that's a touchy subject. I'm a 21st century kind of dude, so I'm all for equality. Hell, I went to Fresno State, so I know more about Title IX than most of you know. One of the central valley's greatest high school softball pitcher, Marissa Marzan (Bullard High/University of Arizona/Cal State Fullerton) has decided to start her own blog. I'm not knocking her at all. It's a nice try. But, it's just nice. Seriously how deep is her sports knowledge. Can she tell you that Roberto Clemente played 18 seasons in the major leagues? Can she tell you that he died in a horrible airplane accident while taking food to the earthquake victims in Nicaragua? Can she even name the non Pac-10 schools to win the NCAA Softball championships? I don't know, maybe she can. But she can give us guys, an insight to what females think day in and day out. As all of us males know, no female is the same, and none of their thoughts are the same for two days. Now don't let me steer you away from her attempt at demonstrating her "Go Big or Go Home" motto to the WWW. But click here and leave her your thoughts on her "masterful" attempt at the blogging world.

The New Adidas

So adidas just released the "Saddle" shoe. Yes, that's the shoe pictured above. I've stated before that I only rock Nikes. I'm not a fan of adidas but I found out about this shoe through my boy Dusty's blog. Check out his blog by clicking here. Get a little art and culture in your life and check out his blog. I'm still anti-adidas sorry!

Gangsta bowlers in Rocklin, CA

You may be wondering where the hell is Rocklin. I wondered that too about 4-5 months ago. But, as a resident of Sacramento, I know where it is now. You just head east on the 80 and it's after Roseville. Anyways, apparently there's some violence at the bowling alley in Rocklin (which is the suburbs, it's no Oak Park). This is a quote from the paper.

Police said a dispute over bowling etiquette led one man to assault another with a 16-pound ball, knocking out one of the man’s teeth. They said a 24-year-old man hit a man in the face with the bowling ball during a melee involving six bowlers at the Rocklin AMF Lanes. Two groups got into a fist fight about 12:40 a.m. Thursday after two bowlers approached the lane at the same time. They couldn’t agree which should go first.

The suspect was being held on suspicion of assault with a deadly weapon in Placer County Jail.

I never knew bowling could be so much fun. My guess is that they were Raiders fans.

NCAA Tournament

The NCAA Tournament is the best time of the year. This is also the time when everyone apparently cares about basketball. Sure, it's another excuse to be hammered. Random colleges host parties because their school is playing. What you don't think Cleveland State partied like it was spring break after defeating #4 Wake Forest. Unfortunately, for those of us in the real world, we couldn't sit at home Thursday and Friday watching basketball games. Although, I know people that did and were as drunk as a 17 year old during homecoming by 4pm. I'm picking North Carolina to win the tourney, because I want to. Grab a beer and enjoy your Sunday...

Cell phones make Popcorn??

Can you really make popcorn with the vibration and radiation from a cell phone? I personally had never thought about that until I seen this clip. It's interesting to say that least, and, well it makes you think. I'm not sure if I'm buying into this, but let me know if you have tried it or know anything about it. I think we need to put in a call to Mythbusters for this.

Brady is a child

Gisele recently spoke about QB hubby, Tom Brady, in an interview in Harper's Bazaar and she said that

"He has a very pure heart. He's very naive, almost like a child. That is my favorite quality about him."

Well guess what Gisele, I also can be like a child. Hell, I can be whatever you want me to be. What I rough life this Brady character is living.

Alexander Ovechkin

I don't really care about hockey, but this video is funny. Ovechkin is one of the best players in the NHL and this commercial taping is hilarious. And people wonder why the NHL is tough to market. Come one 'Bron 'Bron and Peyton Manning's commercials are awesome, this is, well it has no chance. But I'm sure people will love it in those hockey crazy countries...wherever that is.

Mike Vick's crib for sale

Another important bit of news that I "just" found out, the economy is the crapper. Apparently houses in Cali aren't the only ones not selling. Even the modest home of dog fighting king, Mike Vick, couldn't be auctioned of. It's a shame that such a nice modest home wasn't bought. Check out the video and learn a thing or two....

Dwayne Wade for the win....

Hmmm, yeah, this just in Dwayne Wade is good. It's a shame that Kobe and 'Bron 'Bron are having the year they are. Nonetheless, D-Wade, deserves to be mentioned in the MVP talks. All he did yesterday was drop 48 points on the Bulls. Not to mention hitting a triple to send it to overtime and then....well watch the video and you'll see how the game ends.

Trevor Ariza picks on Spaniard

Just watch and leave your comments if you think it was that bad....

Fresno's very own Deshawn Stevenson should take some lessons from Trevor Ariza on how to commit a flagrant foul. His attempt to knock LeBron down was not successful.

Dog having a nightmare

A-Roid breaking down?

As if Alex "I don't know what I took" Rodriguez hasn't suffered enough during this postseason, things just got a little bit worse. A-Roid has a cyst and a torn labrum in his hip. Now I got a B.A. in Mass Communications and Journalism, so I'm not sure what that means, but I know it sounds painful. It's unclear whether A-Roid will have surgery or just try to rehab the injury. If he goes through with the surgery, he could be out up to ten weeks. Can you hear Billy Beane (moneyball master) laughing at the Yankees right now. No matter how you look at it, this is bad news for the Yankees. The Yankees did their share of spending and are opening a new gazillion dollar stadium this season. An A-Roid less team from the Bronx is not as good as having a Madonna loved A-Roid playing third base.

**On a separate note because Terrell Owens isn't worth his own section. Owens got released by the Cowboys!! HAHAHA!!

Manny is BACK!!

Yes, ladies and gentleman, you may now put your kids to sleep. It's official Manny Ramirez has returned to Mannywood. And the fans in San Francisco actually thought they had a chance in hell of landing the most famous baseball player with dreads. Nice try SF. Check out the video and you quickly will see why I share a bromance with Manny. He's funny and plays the GAME of baseball for fun. I know all you naysayers are saying the Dodgers have no pitching at all, but whatever, we have Manny! Let's just hope Furcal, O-Dog and Man-Ram can all remain healthy.

Pat Burrell MIGHT be cool

I might be the only person that knows Pat Burrell went to UCLA. I also might be the only that thinks he's very underrated. Yes he can't hit for average, but he's good for 25+ HRs every year. Most importantly he somehow landed this chick in the past. This porn star says it was a long time ago. Click here to see a very interesting quote Sopia Rossi had on The Howard Stern Show.
