John Madden retires....

Today is a sad day in the world of football and video games. The legendary broadcaster John Madden has announced his retirement from broadcasting. You are all probably wondering the same thing I am, is there still going to be "Madden" video games. No one really ever understood what Madden was trying to say during his broadcasts, with words such as "BOOM" among others he'd invent Madden was a great character. But, one thing that Madden did manage to do, was making his video game legendary. There is no way you can talk video games with avid sports fans and the "Madden" football games not be in his top 3 choices. ESPN held a "Madden" tournament that was televised, it became a phenomenon.

Every kid, teenager, adolescent and adult played "Madden" into the wee hours of the night. Yes, I'm one of those people. I've been playing "Madden" for as long as I can remember. While in college "Madden" was played daily with friends, and we even managed to turn it into a drinking game. Yes that's six drinks for every touchdown you give up, and take a drink for giving up a first down. The creativity just flows in college. So Mr. Madden I hope you continue the line of video games and you get in the booth and record some more lines for the game. As John Madden would say;

"90 percent of the game is half mental..."

Tennessee's Coach raps....

I'm a big fan of sports. I'm a big fan of hip-hop. But sometimes, sport figures just need to stay away from music. Bruce Pearl is the colorful coach for the Tennessee Men's Basketball team, and he TRIED to rap at the Vol's award banquet. Yes this is the same man that once painted his entire chest Orange for a women's bball game at Tennessee. Hulk Hogan understands OJ??

The Hogan family is still in the news. Yes, Hulk and Linda are still getting divorced. And now the Hulkster has made some shocking comments to the New York Post. To read that article click here. In the article Hulk Hogan says "I totally understand OJ..." It's obvious that Hulk Hogan is upset his wife/soon to be ex-wife is dating a 19-year-old child, and that the kid is banging his wife without having to take viagra. Sorry Hulkster, but you should of took more vitamins and said more prayers. Let's hope that Hulk Hogan doesn't disappoint all the Hulkamaniacs out there and loses his cool i.e. OJ Simpson. Come on Hulk you act like you can't go bang a few 20-year-old blonde chicks that your daughter hangs out with.

Burger King ad pulled

We live in a society that is very sensitive. Sometimes people b*tch and complain about stuff that is irrelevant. We live in a society where someone is always trying to get rich quick. We live in a sue-happy world. Title IX lawsuits, sexual discrimination, wrongful termination, etc etc....don't get me wrong I'm not in favor of groping your co-worker or telling her obscene jokes. But, you and I both know some people will sue for anything. Well Burger King has fallen victim to the ultra sensitivity of the world. Their new ad for the "Texican Whopper" has been pulled, because allegedly it "pokes fun at the Mexican culture." To read more and find out the details about this story click here. If you have watched ESPN at all this week, then you are well aware that the Masters started today. Yes, that's golf people. Nick Diaz reps Stockton, CA

This may come as a shocker to some of you but professional athletes smoke marijuana, pot, trees, herbs, Mary Jane and whatever other cool name there is for cannabis these days. Nick Diaz, an MMA fighter, admitted his use of marijuana and also talks about how he defeats the drug tests. That a boy Nick, way to put the 209 on the map, even if it is for something semi-retarded. It wasn't like Nick admitted his use with the Stockton paper or some little paper, he admitted his use during an interview with The LA Times. Below is part of what Nick told the newspaper, and these are direct quotes.


“I’m more consistent about everything being a cannabis user,” Diaz said in an interview with The Times last week. “I’m happy to get loaded, hear some good music . . . I remain consistent. And I have an easy way to deal with [the drug tests].

“I can pass a drug test in eight days with herbal cleansers. I drink 10 pounds of water and sweat out 10 pounds of water every day. I’ll be fine.”

I've never been a pot smoker, but to each their own. I think if I got my ass beat for a living I might take up some new habits as well. R.I.P. Nick Adenhart

I woke up this morning to hear some tragic news. I know this blog is usually for some laughs and criticism. But today, I take the time to pay my condolences to Nick Adenhart and the other two victims of this car accident. To read the entire story please click here. It's a shame that a kid, because that's what Adenhart was at age 22, can lose his life in a blink of an eye right after pitching six scoreless innings. They have apprehended the suspect, who is believed to have been driving under the influence. Drinking and driving never leads to anything good, and it's my hope that we all can learn from this. I know that we all like to sit back and enjoy some frosty beverages. We love to BBQ and drink. We love to enjoy a couple drinks at the local softball tournament. We love to head to the sports bar, have a few adult beverages then drive home. Some do not even think that drinking and driving is a big issue, but in reality it is. It's a dangerous situation. Although we all claim to be in control when we drink, we need to know better than that. I'm not telling everyone to stop drinking, but I'm telling you all to think when you do consume alcohol. I know it's easier said than done. My prayers go out to the families that lost their children in this accident. Kids stay in school and don't do drugs. If you drink do so responsibly and don't drink and drive....CHEERS!

It's time for random thoughts by yours truly...UNC slapped Michigan State last night...The Dodgers defeated Jake Peavy for the first time since, well a long time ago...The Lakers slapped the Kings tonight...Did you know that Megan Fox is hot...I've had girls tell me they would let me live out my fantasies. I call bullsh*t on that...I'm starting to realize girls can be all talk...I hate fake people and am disturb more by dumb ass people...I hate the Giants...Sacramento is cool, but it's not the happiest place on earth...Who the hell was the first person to say Disneyland/Disneyworld was the happiest place on earth? Has that person ever been in bed with any of the following: Megan Fox, Jessica Biel, Jessica Alba, Rosalyn Sanchez(Puerto Rican beauty), Eva Mendes and Marissa Miller. That would be the happiest place on earth...






I love women...But some can drive absolutely nuts...Chris Brown is not the smartest guy in the world...Did UCONN B-Ball women really go undefeated for an entire season? Yes they did, wow props to them...I hate the Raiders...I'm fond of people that speak the truth and say what's on their minds...People that change their minds on a daily basis drive me crazy...I drink Diet Pepsi...I play softball competitively, yes there is such a thing...I was once told, "I'm not going to have a relationship with softball." Girls like to have control...I don't like to be controlled, unless it's in the bedroom then we can compromise...No! I won't choke you, whip you with chains, wear furry outfits or any other weird ass fantasy/fetish you may have...You want to fulfill my fantasy get me at least two of the above mentioned girls and it's go time...I don't do "open" relationships...I lived in New York for a couple years...It was cold there, but it was a blast...Girls in the east coast are different than west coast girls...They both have their pros and cons...I used to be infatuated with blondes...I'm diverse now and accept all beautiful girls...Every girl should swallow...If all guys did a survey what would win boobs, legs or ass?..How old is too young to lose your virginity?...What's the acceptable age gap between a couple?...I've never had sex outside or in public. Does that make me boring?..I got friends of all different races...Even got one that's half-black/half-Japanese...I don't give a sh*t if you like me or not...Don't judge me based on what you read on my blogs, I'm way more than words...I write because I can...I don't think as I type, and what is typed on here is not edited....Read at your own risk, if you hate me because of what I typed, maybe that's your insecurity and your personal issues...Don't call me and ask for an apology...It's a freakin' blog and just words...Eminem makes fun of people for entertainment purposes, so think of me as the Eminem of blogs...Kumar is quitting acting to work for President Obama...Baseball season is great...Spring and summer are awesome, just to see girls wearing skimpy clothing all day...If you molest a child you should be killed on the spot...I'm out of here for this edition and kids stay in school, don't do drugs and have safe sex people, we don't need more unwanted kids...

It's new music Tuesday! Eminem hasn't released a solo music video since 2005. But, to all the Em fans do not fear Slim Shady is back to his old tricks. In perfect Eminem style, this music video "We Made You," makes fun of every celebrity possible from Jessica Simpson to Sarah Palin, and even the Lindsay Lohan & Sam couple to many more. This video is comical and it's Eminem doing what he does best and that's make fun of people. Like some of Eminem's previous singles; "My Name Is,"Without Me," "Lose Yourself" and "The Real Slim Shady"- this is a fun song. It's not Eminem at his finest lyrically, but keep in mind it is his single for the radio, so he can't be Marshall Mathers to the fullest. The Best Monday Ever!

Let's face it, we all hate Mondays. In particular, because after a couple of days of massive alcohol consumption, work just doesn't sound like a good idea. But, also because Saturday and Sunday are usually a big day in the world of sports. So us, males, love the weekends. Monday is the farthest day from the weekend, so it's depressing all around. It makes us five days away from our next softball tournament, beer pong tournament, club hopping, strip club visit, sleeping in 'till noon and of course doing absolutely nothing productive with our lives. But ladies and gentleman, boys and a girl, this Monday is different. Why the f*ck do I say that right? It's still five days away from the weekend. But, baseball season gets underway (Go Dodgers), Yankee's new building aka stadium opens up and the NCAA Men's Basketball championships pairs up Michigan State against the Jordan sponsored Baby Blue team (Go Tar Heels). So it's basically a great Monday, except for that whole work thing, but don't be scared to use a sick day, personal day or a vacation day. I will be firing up the tri-tip, beers on ice, jagger in the freezer, patron is chilling and I will enjoy this day. This Monday will go down in history as one of the better Mondays ever. This just in, K-Rod gets first save in Met's debut, oh the people in NY are glad not to see a blown save!

Alexander Ovechkin is arguably the best hockey player in the world. LeBron James is arguably (I'm picking Kobe) the best basketball player in the world. The Washington Post captured the meeting of these two superstars on video. It's pretty awkward and LeBron admits to never attending a hockey game. Like that's a shock....

Friends with Benefits

Only if this actually happened in real life. I guarantee if this actually did happen, there would be a lot less divorce. On that note, people think twice before jumping into a relationship just so you can say "I'm having sex with my bf or gf so it's OK." Think it out and talk out, maybe you can reach a friends with benefits agreement.
