For the first time since my 18th birthday, I woke up the day after my b-day without a hangover. My 27th birthday was yesterday, and I didn't consume one alcoholic beverage at all. It's pretty much an impressive feat, considering the last 8 birthdays have included a lot of alcohol and many blurry memories. Why didn't I drink you ask? Well it was a Wednesday, and I'm just getting old I guess. I've grown up a bit and matured (so I tell myself). In conclusion, I'm sure this weekend in Carson City/Reno might include a few adult beverages. The important thing is the Dodgers won on my b-day defeating the Mets 2-1.
Extra Credit:
Tonight the Lakers square off in Game 2 against Denver. Phil Jackson is 42-0 in playoff series when he wins the first game. That's a good sign for us Laker fans.
The Cavs are down 1-0. Let's see how the Cavs handle a little adversity. The difference between 'Bron Bron and Kobe was seen yesterday. With time running out at the game and down one, there's no way Kobe isn't taking the last shot. LBJ instead dished it out to D. West who missed a three. I'm sorry but at the end of the game I want my best player shooting the rock, and LBJ doesn't have that mentality YET...Kobe would of took the shot.
Jake Peavy is on the verge of being raded to the White Sox, but he must first waive his no trade clause. I wouldn't waive sh*t, leave the beaches and babes of San Diego to hang out in South Side Chi-Town, nah I'm good. I'll stay and continue losing and getting paid.
Kris Allen wins American Idol over the Adam Lambert, I guess America doesn't like dudes rocking nail polish and mascara. I didn't vote, but if I did, I would of voted for Kris. Go ahead, judge me.
Mike Vick is finally home, but on home arrest for two months. Will the NFL reinstated Vick? Who knows, but let's hope he's truly remorseful.
Stay in school kids, and do your homework. I'm out of here.
